The PositionThis role will work within an assigned outlet with opportunity to cross over to other outlets. You will assist in providing support with work flow, administration and developing employees. A key role in engaging and motivating a team to deliver a high customer experience and product knowledge to our guests. This role will ensure continuity of operations during the Manager’s absence, as required.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport management of staffing levels to maximize productivity and business performance to be fully conversant in all training modules for each outletSupport the TA team in staffing and recruitment initiativesAssist with the supervision of all staff and performance management process through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing teamWork with the team to promote and model the highest level of customer service to deliver maximum customer satisfactionBe attentive and responsive to customer related issues or concernsUnderstand and utilize performance metrics to assess and drive financial success under the guidance of the Food and Beverage management teamAssist with the creation and management of scheduling and shift in accordance with operational requirementsMaintain and promote departmental quality standardsBe fully conversant in all training modules for their outletCreate a positive and engaging work environment people want to be a part ofPerform other duties as assignedWhat You’ll RequireMinimum 2 years supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant and/or bar operationsRelevant post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or another related field preferredSmart Serve and Food Handlers certificationWHMIS (Training provided)Some knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality in generalExperience with managing multiple outlets is an assetAdaptable and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibilityAn understanding of regulatory compliances in Employment Standards, Occupational Health and Safety, and Liquor License ActMust be able to walk and stand for long periods of timeAbility to work in hot, cold and humid environments (indoor/outdoor) as requiredAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events neededAdditional InformationAll employees at Casino Rama are expected to:Comply with the duties of workers or supervisors, as prescribed by Section 27 or 28 of the Occupational Health and Safety ActComply with all applicable Casino Rama Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and protocolsDemonstrate a positive health and safety attitude to ensure Casino Rama continuously provides a safe entertainment destination for patrons and co-workersWhat Is NextLove what you see so far?
