Responsibilities Work in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residents—from newborn to elders—through a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere. Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to the care plan. Health Promotion, Assessments, planning and implementing care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; provide primary care and emergency care; travel nursing; experience creating care plans; IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizations. Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing. Have or be willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work. Meet the required work experience.
