Ultimately, EllisDon’s purpose is to provide people with similar values the opportunity to achieve their full potential; to deliver that opportunity for great careers to one another; and to contribute meaningfully to the community we share with others.You as a Planner and Scheduler for our Project Advisory and Management Group will:Prepare comprehensive project master schedules for high-complexity projects in accordance with contract requirements and EllisDon standardsPrepare schedule updates, including cash flow updates, in accordance with EllisDon Management System guidelinesDevelop and publish regular Schedule Performance Reports featuring progress dashboards, Earned Value Analysis/Schedule Performance Index, S-curves, Heatmaps, Milestone Trend Analysis, Variance Analysis, and areas of concernReview and provide feedback on reports generated by Project Managers and team membersTrack and report on schedule float and critical path activitiesDefine criticality criteria per contract documents and identify critical and near-critical path activitiesIdentify and communicate schedule-related risks and opportunities to the project teamDefine optimum risk response plans to support on-time project completionEnsure schedules are robust and appropriate to support potential extension of time claimsDemonstrate strong understanding of delay analysis methodologies and collaborate with external delay experts on extension of time claimsEstablish strong working relationships with clients, consultants and contractors’ scheduling teams to develop and maintain project baseline schedulesLead discussions on corrective actions, schedule mitigation measures, and resequencing with project teamsIs this the right role for you?You have a construction-related degree/diploma and five years of construction scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.You have experience working with institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential projectsPSP and/or PMI-SP designation is an assetExperience in different delay analysis techniquesExperience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectExperience using Microsoft Office Suite, and with 4D scheduling is an assetExperience working on multiple projects from initiation to close outExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to write professional reports, narratives, and analysesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesGo ahead and be yourself.
