Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud Specialist – 12 months Contract Join to apply for this role at Chartwell Retirement Residences. Opportunity Reporting to the Manager Information Systems, HCM, this role requires technical skills in configuring and managing Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud. The incumbent will ensure the HCM functions as expected, meets business‑user needs, and partner with People and business owners across HCM, HRIS and HRMS. Key Responsibilities Five‑plus years’ experience in HCM Cloud payroll modules and technical tools, including end‑to‑end payroll processing, Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and Advanced Workforce Scheduling (AWS). Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll techno‑functional skill with deep knowledge of payroll configuration, extensions, fast formulas, UDT, eligibility, costing, GL interfacing and information elements. Full understanding of payroll components such as Premiums, Rate per Hour, RRSP, RPP, Uniform Allowance, Vacation, Union Dues, Meal Allowance, Taxable Meal and Wages in Lieu. Hands‑on configuration of element definition, input values, costing, eligibility, balance feeds, formula updates, UDT creation, EOY T4 and RL1 box mapping. Experience with pay‑to‑post cycle, EOY processes for T4, RL1, CRA, Revenue Quebec interfacing and balance adjustments. Techno‑functional experience in two of the following areas: T&L, Redwood, Benefits, or Absence Management. Configure Unions and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).  Design, configure, unit‑test and deploy solutions.  Troubleshoot technical support, quarterly updates and end‑of‑year issues. Strong SQL and Oracle Fusion technical skills: HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, Fast Formula, DFF, Security Console, ESS Scheduler, HCM Data Loader scripts, HSDL, email/workflow notifications, and transaction controller. Partner with project managers and business analysts on requirements, solution recommendation and effort estimation. Understand detailed technical and functional design specifications. Collaborate with Business Owners and analysts on risk, improvement, efficiency, optional methods and best practices. Build and support end‑to‑end integration with external vendors (inbound and outbound file transfers). Perform additional duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate Profile Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field. Five‑plus years’ experience supporting Oracle HCM systems. Three‑plus years’ experience with Oracle HCM Cloud technical and functional roles. Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate them across disparate systems. Oracle HCM Cloud development experience. Excellent multi‑tasking and fast‑paced working skills. Independent work capability with strong attention to detail and cross‑functional impact awareness. Excellent client‑facing communication (writing, presentation, verbal). Knowledge of RPA tools such as UI Path is a plus. ITIL certification or applied knowledge is an asset. Strong teamwork, self‑motivation, prioritization and execution skills. Creative and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Bilingualism (English / Functional French) is an added advantage. Working Conditions Availability for occasional non‑standard hours and flexibility regarding workdays. May need irregular hours during peak delivery periods. Willingness to perform standby/on‑call duties for 24/7 coverage as required.
