Through your skills in computer science and mathematics, your experience in actuarial valuation, and your knowledge of IFRS17 standards, you have a positive impact on the company’s financial health and profitability.Your role:Oversee quarterly reserve calculations and participate in the update of assumptionsPerform solvency ratio calculationsComplete annual regulatory exercises such as the ORSA and participate in budget projectionsParticipate in formulating recommendations for senior managementEnsure the implementation of controls and the optimization of processesCollaborate with auditors, the Finance department, and the ALM departmentYour team:The Actuarial team consists of six members, and you report to the Senior Director, Actuarial. Our team stands out for the rigor of its corporate work, its in-depth knowledge of the life insurance sector, and its ability to understand and communicate the financial impacts of various scenarios or initiatives.You will have the opportunity to perform a diverse role where your contribution will be valued by accounting, finance, ALM, operations, and other teams. You will participate in the implementation of new products within actuarial valuation models, the quantification of the impacts of adverse scenarios, and the projection of financial results, among other activities. In addition, the Actuarial team works closely with the Analytics team to implement automated processes and support the production of reports from the new Insurance data warehouse.We value a variety of continuous learning approaches to support your development, including learning through action, access to training content, and collaboration with colleagues with diverse expertise and backgrounds.
