This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering Rx accurately and timely, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and counseling patients with appropriate documentation.We value collaboration, training, flexibility and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service in Health & Wellness services including Pharmacy, Dietitian, Medical and Optical services.What You’ll DoPrepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patientsEnsure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needsCounsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, proactive mannerCreate awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctor’s requests/issuesReview and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)What You’ll NeedBachelor of Science, Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist licenseSuperior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalismExcellent leadership and performance management skillsProven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plansStrong personal computing skills, and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer system is a definite assetIf you want to join a fast-paced winning team and believe you can have an immediate impact, apply today.
