Position available immediately.
A pharmacy assistant to work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Job description and Key responsibilities:
1-Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
2-Receiving prescriptions from patients and gathering patient information.
3- Entering patient information and filling prescriptions.
3-Maintaining pharmacy stock through inventory control.
4-Handling customer prescription pick up.
5-Assisting with cashier responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience on Kroll computer system.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent customer service Skills.
Proficient computer/data entry skills.
Good mathematical skills.
Able to handle insurance issues.
Previous experience is an asset.
Work hours:
Day shifts only and minimum two Saturdays a month
Salary based on experience

Experience is a must

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kemptville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
