Senior Sales Engineer – Business Development & Sales Strategy for AI & SaaS Clients Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Sales Engineer will lead the business development and sales strategy for AI and SaaS clients across engineering, manufacturing, and industrial markets, helping early‑stage startups build pipeline and scale their sales operations. Responsibilities Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles. Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions and tailor proposals, architecture, and implementation to meet unique requirements. Mentor junior reps to level up their cold‑calling and objection‑handling skills. Balance and execute multiple client campaigns simultaneously without missing a beat. Collaborate with startup founders and product engineers to refine go‑to‑market messaging for manufacturing and engineering verticals. Create and deliver powerful presentations and customized product demos that clearly communicate our products and services, and the uniqueness of the value proposition to customers. Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses. Collect and document competitive intelligence about products. Help clients troubleshoot issues with installed products and recommend improved or upgraded solutions. Engage prospects and secure qualified meetings, recording sales data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers. Identify areas for improvement and communicate creative solutions, novel and innovative ideas to senior management. Work closely with teammates to refine strategies, share insights, and optimize outreach for maximum impact. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is required. 3+ years’ experience as a Sales Engineer. Experience translating complex SaaS/AI capabilities into practical operational benefits. Working knowledge of cryptography and security standards. Seasoned in qualifying technical and commercial leads and opportunities and managing them through the sales funnel. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Skills & Competencies Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy‑to‑understand manner. Accountable – fast and efficient, able to respond to a sense of urgency and competing priorities. Motivated – displays intent & desire to learn and become a subject‑matter expert (advanced skill level). Resourceful – proactive and takes initiative, anticipates senior management needs regarding data, reporting and meeting deadlines. Organized & Detail‑Oriented – reliable and quality‑control oriented, takes pride in accuracy. Perceptive – exceptional analytical abilities, critical thinker. Communicator – good reasoning and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and creativity. Ability to develop proof of concepts for operational and product use cases. Functional knowledge and experience working with programming languages and technical tools, including Python, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Technical Drawings, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). #J-18808-Ljbffr
