Job Title Intermediate/Senior Teacher, Contract Job Posting Number External OECTA#2526-123 Eligibility This posting is open to Teachers on the Occasional Teacher List currently employed by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board and external applicants. Salary Range The salary of a teacher shall be determined in accordance with Article 32 of the OECTA Collective Agreement according to QECO rating and years of experience. Effective September 1, 2025 teacher salaries will range from $56,288.00 to $119,949.00 (based on a 1.0FTE). Closing Date January 23, 2026 at 4pm Assignment Regiopolis Notre Dame Catholic High School 0.17FTE, Intermediate/Senior Teacher of English (1 Section, Semester 2) Commencing January 30, 2026 Qualifications Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) Division and Subject Specific Qualifications Application And Requirements An application package will include the following documents: Cover Letter with Resume Current Certificate of Qualifications from the Ontario College of Teachers Submission indicating you are a practicing Roman Catholic (current within 1 year) OR a Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate Two professional letters of reference Recent graduates – include University transcript & practice teaching reports (copies only) As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must provide a Criminal Background Check (CBC) with vulnerable sector screening current within six months of date of hire. NOTES This position open to Occasional Teachers currently employed by Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board who have completed a minimum of one (1) LTO assignment that was a minimum of four (4) months in duration, and whose last evaluation resulted in a satisfactory rating. In addition to the applicants from the school board's occasional teacher roster, a school board may choose, as one of the applicants to be interviewed, a teacher employed as a permanent teacher elsewhere in the province who has applied to the posting.
