Position: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (Operational Finance)

Location: Head Office in Brossard - Montreal, Quebec

Type: On-site position

Job Overview

Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Operational Finance) will report to the FP&A Vice-President. The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Operational Finance) is primarily responsible for the financial analysis of Quebec operations.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Responsible for the financial analysis of the monthly variations of dental clinics in Quebec
  2. Organize monthly meetings with Directors and Regional Directors to review the monthly results
  3. Responsible for the preparation of clinic budgets in Quebec and detailed analysis for long-term planning
  4. Deliver and lead regular performance insights report to senior leadership including KPI
  5. Define how the business can create additional value through taking multiple data points and transferring those into actionable insights/analysis for the team
  6. Partner with business unit leaders to evaluate key trends, identify profitable growth opportunities and ensure forecast accuracy
  7. Support in the development and adoption of Business Intelligence tools in Quebec and nationally
  8. Financial analysis on the results of potential clinic acquisitions
  9. Continually improve processes, drive change, and elevate the level of reporting for the overall corporation
  10. Provide any other ad hoc analysis and lead various other reporting projects including decision support, metrics and analytics
Education, Credentials, Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA designation is required
Five (5) years of experience in a similar position

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and oral (bilingual)
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and more specifically Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI (asset)
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrate rigor and good organizational skills in their work
  • Professional team player and able to handle pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Be flexible, versatile and discreet
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
