Job Summary Location: Canada‑Remote Division: Marketplace engineering Line Manager: Senior Director Contract Terms: Full time Role: Sr. Engineer (Android) – lead technical design and maintain SDKs for >500 client apps worldwide. What You Will Be Doing 5‑6+ years of professional software development experience. Experience with Kotlin/Java and robust mission‑critical systems. Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose and modern UI development. Proficiency in Kotlin Coroutines, StateFlow/SharedFlow, Hilt/Dagger, MVVM, MVI. Previous experience designing complex solutions with significant business impact. Experience with React Native. Project ownership from idea to production and mentoring junior engineers. Technical Skills 5+ years native Android development, full‑stack understanding of app performance and architecture. Experience with iOS and Android platforms. Agile methodologies and JIRA. Leadership through full software life cycle. Experience in infrastructure, databases, data processing, ML, distributed systems, security, privacy. Behavioral Skills Commitment and multitasking in fast‑paced environment. Team player with positive attitude. Own multiple concurrent projects, negotiate and present to stakeholders.
