We are looking for a District Business Manager to join our Sales Team, based in Vancouver, covering British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. This role requires up to 30% travel. If you have a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales and leadership, read on and apply today Your new role As a District Business Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will prepare and oversee annual district business plans, including key business drivers, sales forecasts, and promotional budgets. Some of your specific responsibilities include: Assist Sales Representatives in creating and monitoring annual territory business plans to ensure alignment with district goals. Lead and coach Sales Representatives to achieve their sales targets through motivational techniques and regular touchpoints. Establish open and consistent communication channels with Sales Representatives, sharing competitive insights, coaching tips, and best practices. Organise and conduct motivational District Meetings bi-annually or as needed. Collaborate with the Director of Sales, other District Business Managers, and cross‑functional partners to coordinate activities and share information. Represent the company at conferences, symposiums, and lectures. Your new department As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Your Skills and Qualifications We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: A university degree in science, business, or a related field. 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales (medical device experience is acceptable). 2–3 years of people management/leadership experience. A proven track record of sales success and the ability to manage change. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and relationships across functions. The placement in the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on your skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience match the position requirements.
