Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Programmer Analyst to join the existing team in the development of their web application. The selected candidate will be part of a project team comprising 10-15 information technology professionals. This role involves working with various systems, necessitating seamless interfacing with these systems.

This is a full time, onsite, contract position. Working schedule is Mon-Fri, with 7.50-hour workday.Once the contract is signed, the successful candidate is expected to be available within two weeks to start on the project and must live locally in Fredericton NB.

Job Description

General Duties:

  • Gathers and analyses data for the conduct of studies to establish the technical and economic feasibility of proposed computer systems, and for the development of functional and system design specifications.
  • Designs methods and procedures for small computer systems, and sub-system of larger systems.
  • Develops, tests and implements small computer systems, and sub-systems of larger systems.
  • Produces forms, manuals, programs, data files, procedures, and training material.
  • Controls and evaluates systems testing as a member of a systems test team.
  • Write user, operations and training manuals.
  • Trains user and operations personnel.
  • The role includes collaborating with a project team of 10-15 IT professionals.
  • Working on interfacing with other systems.
  • Adhering to project timelines and deliverables.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex problems, propose alternative solutions, and break them down into manageable tasks.
  • Develop front-end components using React JS, Node JS, Next JS, Svelte, or Astro along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Integrate APIs to ensure optimal data flow and synchronization.
  • Design and implement robust progressive web apps with a focus on user experience and performance.
  • Utilize local storage and IndexedDB, NoSQL for efficient application data management.
  • Implement secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., Azure IDP) and manage sessions effectively.
  • Adhere to best practices for securing PWAs and encrypting local data to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Create and manage service workers for offline capabilities and optimized resource handling.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Salesforce APIs for integration.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in Problem Analysis and Solution Proposals (Minimum 8 years)
  • Front-End Development Experience (2 years) with React JS framework, Node JS, Next JS, Svelte, or Astro, along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • API Integration Experience (2 years)
  • PWA Design and Implementation (2 years)
  • Local Storage and IndexedDB, NoSQL Experience: (2 years)
  • Secure Authentication and Session Management (2 years)
  • Best Practices for PWA Security (2 years)
  • Service Workers Management for Offline Capabilities (2 years)
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD Management (1 year)
  • Salesforce Integration: Preferred experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System and APIs.
  • English (verbal and written).
