Each Specialist will support hiring efforts for one of Alberici's major initiatives in the Greater Toronto Area, focusing on sourcing construction professionals, administrative personnel, and fulfilling other staffing needs. By working closely with hiring managers, this individual will understand their staffing needs, provide expert guidance, and deliver client-focused support throughout the recruitment process.This position is based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).Primary ResponsibilitiesConducts the complete recruitment cycle from posting job openings to facilitating onboarding.Main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, delivering a personalized experience to guarantee that recruitment requirements are fulfilled.Provides an efficient recruitment process managing all applicants and coordinating with hiring managers through UKG.Schedules pre‑employment and developmental assessments.Prepares offer letters and presents/delivers to candidates.Administers onboarding process by preparing new hire toolkits, new hire onboarding documents and preparing new hire entry forms.Conducts new hire HR orientation.Develops and audits job descriptions to reflect each position’s requirements.Maintains confidential employee records and personnel files.Create and update competency matrix to align skills with organizational needs.Design and document process maps for key HR workflows.Deliver line manager training on recruitment practices and compliance.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to talent acquisition and workforce planning.QualificationsBachelor's degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent related experience.5–7 years recruitment experience in the construction industry is preferred.
