This pivotal role will drive innovation, enhance customer experience, and achieve ambitious business objectives through our digital offerings.Role OverviewAs the Director, you will lead the charge in developing and implementing cutting‑edge technological solutions that position our company at the forefront of the DTC insurance and wealth industry. Your responsibilities include orchestrating a comprehensive product strategy that integrates advanced technology with superior customer experiences while managing and optimizing the end‑to‑end digital experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and VisionDevelop and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with organizational goals and market trendsCreate and oversee strategic roadmaps for the journey/platform, balancing client needs, business objectives, and technical feasibilityCollaborate with senior leadership to ensure product strategy supports overall business directionEnd‑to‑End Experience ManagementOversee the entire digital product lifecycle, from conception to post‑launch optimizationContinuously analyze and improve end‑to‑end customer journey, including optimisation of conversion rates, ensuring profitability and growth of the DTC platformDetailed Product DevelopmentLead the product development process from granular requirements writing through to high‑level strategy formulationEnsure meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of product development, from user stories to technical specificationsImplement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain product excellenceMarketing Optimization and Cost EfficiencyWork closely with marketing teams to optimise customer acquisition strategiesFocus on improving key metrics such as CPL and CACImplement data‑driven strategies to enhance marketing ROI and reduce acquisition costsTechnology and Data LeadershipMaintain deep understanding of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the insurance industryEnsure consideration of all technical layers in product planning and executionLead efforts in data stewardship, identify and address data gaps across the product portfolioAgile and Delivery ExcellenceRemove systemic impediments to accelerate product deliveryEstablish risk management frameworks and coach teams on balancing risk with desired outcomesFoster a culture of experimentation and hypothesis‑driven approach in product developmentPerformance and Financial ManagementSet and track measurable outcomes aligned with organisational objectivesChampion data‑driven decision making in product choices and prioritisationDevelop multi‑year financial models to guide investment decisions and communicate ROI to senior leadershipCross‑Functional CollaborationWork closely with business strategy, marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of product strategy with broader business goalsFoster inclusive leadership by integrating diverse perspectives in product developmentRequired CompetenciesProduct Development ExpertiseProven ability at a highly detailed level, from requirements writing to strategy developmentExperience in both 0‑1 (ideation to launch) and 1‑n (scaling and optimisation) product development phasesStrong technical acumen with knowledge of cloud platforms, AI/ML, and event‑driven architecturesClient ObsessedExpertise in embedding client needs into product roadmapsStrong product evangelism skills with the ability to inspire engagement across teamsProficiency in orchestrating complex product launchesTech FluencyAbility to understand end‑to‑end product architecture and supporting technologiesExpertise in data stewardship and identifying data dependenciesAccelerated DeliveryProven track record as an Agile championExperience in product risk mitigation and managementStrong advocate for experimentation and hypothesis‑driven approachMeasurable ImpactAbility to set and track outcome‑based metricsExpertise in data‑driven prioritisation and decision makingProficiency in financial modelling and communicating ROIFuture VisionCapability to create and advocate for a cohesive product visionExperience in developing strategic roadmaps aligned with market trends and business goalsCommitment to inclusive leadership and fostering cross‑functional collaborationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field;
