For Ultrasound Technologists Current Rate of Pay: Min $36.84- Max $51.77 Current Shifts: All Shifts including weekends, On-call as required - 8hrs Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities: Current Certification from the College of Medical Radiation Technologists Current Sonography Canada registration or eligible for registration within three months, new graduates will be considered Graduate of a Canadian recognized Ultrasound program Small Parts, General, Abdominal and Obstetrical experience Accurate and thorough practical and theoretical Ultrasound skills Knowledge and experience in multiple modalities an asset Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to GGH’s comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff safety, patient safety, and environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education and e-learning in this area as required Previous Hospital experience an asset Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint Demonstrated commitment to best practice, standards of practice, and life‑long learning Demonstrated skills in teaching/training Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision‑making skills Demonstrated skill in multitasking and time management and evidence of sound organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work well in stressful situations Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians Experience in or willingness to be trained in Musculoskeletal, interventional and vascular an asset. For MRI Technologists Current Rate of Pay: Min $36.84- Max $51.77 Current Shifts: All Shifts - 12hrs Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities: Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario in MRI Magnetic Resonance Imaging Diploma Minimum 2 years’ technical experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging CAMRT Registration preferred Demonstrated working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario, MRI section, and the Health Professionals Act Proven knowledge of MRI safety to act as a resource to technologists, other hospital staff, physicians and volunteers Demonstrated commitment to best practice, standards of practice, and life‑long learning Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, conflict management and organizational skills Must act as a positive advocate for the professional body of MRI and the Diagnostic Imaging Department Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint All positions at GGH contribute to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
