Cashier role at Shoppers Drug Mart Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers Maintains a neat and organized checkout area Greets customers and displays a warm demeanor Accurately scans or enters product data Accurately accounts for cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction Documents customer receipt and return of goods accurately Merchandises and maintains designated areas (e.g., facing, signing, labeling) Follows loss prevention standards and controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory Presents proper image following Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines Complies with all health and safety regulations and store policies Maintains housekeeping and image standards Performs other duties as required Qualifications Planning, judgement, and decision‑making skills Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency when processing orders Strong organizational and neatness skills Efficiency in processing customer orders Experience Strong computer and register skills Well organized with the ability to keep records Detail oriented Benefits Each store has an Associate‑Owner, so you will work for a local business owner while having the support of a national brand.
