We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented accounting professional to take ownership of financial operations across a portfolio of real estate and operating businesses. This role requires strong accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across multiple entities. Responsibilities Managing day‑to‑day accounting operations across all entities, including revenue, expenses, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and cashiering functions Owning the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reviews Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual financial statements with supporting schedules and notes Analyzing financial performance across the portfolio and providing clear insights and recommendations to management Monitoring all sales, purchases, and expenses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies Reviewing and authorizing accounting adjustments to ensure proper support and approval Reviewing daily cash and credit card deposits and reconciling them to property systems and bank records Managing cash flow and asset tracking in accordance with company procedures Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing internal financial controls related to purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventory, and fixed assets Ensuring consistent implementation of accounting policies across all properties and business units Preparing detailed year‑end working papers to support audits, reviews, and tax filings Supporting budgeting and forecasting on an annual, revised annual, and ongoing basis, including variance analysis Reviewing contracts, leases, and other agreements for financial and accounting implications Monitoring and reviewing capital expenditures to ensure alignment with company policies Maintaining organized, accurate, and audit‑ready financial records at all times Coordinating and reviewing work performed by junior or offshore accounting staff Performing additional finance‑related duties and special projects as required CPA designation preferred, with experience in multi‑entity accounting environments This is a fully in‑person role requiring active involvement across the company’s real‑estate and business portfolio Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr
