We are proud that our global workforce is bound by our common values: Job purpose The Eye Care Territory Manager is responsible for achieving all territory sales goals through the promotion, sale and support of company products or services. They will report to the National Sales Manager, Ophthalmics. Tasks and responsibilities: Leading one-on-one conversations with physicians and healthcare professionals to support approved product uses. Engaging in discussions with medical professionals and skillfully advocating for our products’ unique features and advantages, addressing any potential objections. Serving as a crucial point of contact and knowledge hub for the Patient Benefits Program. Planning and organizing speaker programs and other peer-to-peer activities in the region in collaboration with Medical. Leading Lunch and Learns. Communicating market intelligence to brand teams and management. Preparation and implementation of Strategic Business Plans. Report on Territory Metrics and KPIs. Attendance at Regional and National Conferences (as needed). Timely and accurate completion of all administrative requirements. Responsible for complying with Canadian drug regulations (Health Canada, Innovative Medicines Canada and Sun’s policies) regarding field drug promotion. Additional responsibilities apply to customer-facing roles only. Report any adverse events received from customers regarding company products to the pharmacovigilance department/Drug Safety on the same day or the next business day. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in the ophthalmic field, are preferred. Skilled in crafting compelling narratives that identify the most appropriate patient segments. Secures engagement for testing, and enhances it by providing ongoing support. Demonstrates a history of outstanding sales success. Ability to develop relationships with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff within hospitals, clinics and private practice facilities. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare system processes, including reimbursement. Strong work ethic and ability to develop priorities and manage time appropriately. Competent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must possess strong business acumen. Must be able to work effectively with all team members. Must have the ability and commitment to travel, including occasional overnight stays when required. Must be bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. Working conditions General office conditions.
