Territory Manager, Ophthalmics - Quebec City Responsibilities Leading one-on-one conversations with physicians and healthcare professionals to support approved product uses. Engaging in discussions with medical professionals and advocating for our products’ features and advantages while addressing objections. Serving as a point of contact and knowledge hub for the Patient Benefits Program. Planning and organizing speaker programs and other peer-to-peer activities in the region in collaboration with Medical. Leading Lunch and Learns. Communicating market intelligence to brand teams and management. Preparing and implementing Strategic Business Plans and reporting on Territory Metrics and KPIs. Attending Regional and National Conferences as needed. Completing all administrative requirements in a timely and accurate manner. Complying with Canadian drug regulations (Health Canada, Innovative Medicines Canada) and Sun’s field promotion policies. Additional Responsibilities (Customer-facing) Report any adverse events from customers to the pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety department on the same day or the next business day. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in ophthalmology. Demonstrates a proactive, goal-oriented mindset with resilience and collaboration in uncertain situations. Strong initiative and problem-solving skills. Ability to build relationships with physicians, nurses and ancillary staff in hospitals, clinics and private practice facilities. Knowledge of healthcare system processes, including reimbursement. Strong work ethic, time management, and prioritization skills. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong business acumen. Ability to travel, including occasional overnight stays. Must be bilingual in French and English, written and spoken. Working conditions General office conditions. Ability to travel, with occasional overnight stays as needed. Direct reports NA Version française Objectif du poste Le ou la responsable du territoire pour les soins oculaires a pour mission d’atteindre tous les objectifs de vente dans sa zone géographique en assurant la promotion, la vente et l’appui des produits ou services de l’entreprise. Cette personne se rapporte au directeur national des ventes — Ophtalmologie. Responsabilités principales Assurer une communication directe avec les médecins et le personnel soignant afin de promouvoir les indications des produits approuvées. Contacter le personnel médical pour présenter de manière compétitive les caractéristiques et avantages des produits en gérant les objections. Assurer une meilleure visibilité du programme pour les patients et agir comme point de contact central pour ce service. Concevoir et mettre en place des séminaires et d’autres évènements éducatifs pour les professionnels de la santé sur un territoire donné, en collaboration avec l’équipe médicale. Animer des présentations « Lunch and Learn ». Partager les informations sur la concurrence avec les équipes marketing et la direction. Élaborer et exécuter un plan d’affaires stratégique. Préparer et soumettre des rapports sur les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) et les mesures du territoire. Participer, le cas échéant, aux conférences régionales et nationales. Assurer l’exécution rigoureuse et opportune de toutes les formalités administratives. Se conformer aux règlements canadiens régissant les médicaments (Santé Canada, Médicaments novateurs Canada) et aux politiques internes de l’entreprise concernant la promotion pharmaceutique sur le terrain. Responsabilité supplémentaire (Applicable uniquement aux rôles en contact direct avec la clientèle) Informer le département de pharmacovigilance/sécurité des médicaments de tout effet indésirable perçu par les clients concernant les produits de l’entreprise dès que possible, idéalement le jour même, et en tout cas au plus tard un jour ouvrable après. Qualifications Titulaire d’un diplôme universitaire de premier cycle et justifiant d’une expérience professionnelle de deux ans minimum dans la vente de produits pharmaceutiques, idéalement dans le domaine des soins ophtalmologiques. Esprit de réussite et de construction, fierté de laisser un héritage derrière soi. Aime fonctionner dans des situations ambiguës et démontre une grande collaboration. Persévérance, résilience et ténacité prouvées. Initiative personnelle et excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes. Capacité à établir des liens influents dans le domaine des soins oculaires et à développer de nouvelles relations solides en offrant une valeur ajoutée. Formidable communicateur, capable de raconter des récits persuasifs axés sur les cas de patients pertinents. Capacité à susciter l’adhésion à l’idée de tester les produits et à apporter une valeur ajoutée grâce à un soutien fiable. Antécédents de succès en vente et capacité à hiérarchiser et gérer son temps efficacement. Capacité à établir des liens avec le personnel médical, infirmier et auxiliaire dans les hôpitaux, cliniques et cabinets. Connaissance avérée des mécanismes du système de santé, y compris le remboursement (un atout). Maîtrise des logiciels Word, Excel et PowerPoint; sens aigu des affaires. Aptitude à collaborer efficacement avec tous les collègues et à voyager, avec nuits occasionnelles selon les besoins. Doit être bilingue en français et en anglais, à l’écrit et à l’oral, pour communiquer avec les parties prenantes. Milieu professionnel Règles standards du milieu professionnel.
