We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment while adhering to safety regulations. The position involves 12-hour shifts on a rotation between days and nights, including weekends.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled work on equipmentManage work orders efficientlyTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems in a manufacturing environmentInstall and maintain distribution and control equipmentWork with automated equipment and interpret technical manuals and schematicsOrganize work area, tools, and partsQualifications:Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certificationIndustrial maintenance experience is an assetKnowledge of Allen Bradley AC Drives, ControlLogix PLC, Relay Logic is an assetUnderstanding of electrical safety codesExperience with instrumentation sensors and transmittersProficient in troubleshooting PLC circuits, motors, and motor control circuitsAbility to learn maintenance softwareStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamExcellent communication and organizational skillsEffective time management skillsBenefits: We offer competitive compensation, healthcare, a challenging work environment, and a culture of teamwork and integrity.
