In joining Subcontracts Team you’ll join a diverse team of seasoned Subcontracts professionals who are passionate about excellence and continuous improvement.The Assistant Subcontract Administrator opening is a current vacant position at General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada. The base salary hiring range for this position is $54,000 to $70,875 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include additional components of our total compensation package, such as our incentive award program and other rewards like health benefits, employee profit-sharing, retirement savings, and more. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss all details of our total rewards offering with you.ResponsibilitiesPartner with internal teams to help meet program requirements and milestone goals, engaging regularly with suppliers.Support subcontract management – from proposal development and negotiations to tracking deliverables and managing contract amendments.Drive effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Maintain meeting actions, documentation, and presentations that keep the Program team aligned.Provide day-to-day administrative support that keeps everything running smoothly.Skills/Abilities/KnowledgePost Secondary degree or college diploma, specializing in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or other related fieldsMinimum 3-5 years relevant experienceExperience of working with multiple stakeholders, balancing priorities, and building strong working relationships.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersA proactive, self-driven mindset – someone who thrives on taking initiative and going above and beyond.Total RewardsAt General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada, you’ll find more than just a job – you’ll find a mission.
