As a Senior Analyst, Performance Management will support business planning and performance management activities through financial models, forecasts, business and financial analysis, industry research and special projects. You will work in a multi‑business organization to support the required reporting, analysis and communication. Support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities by coordinating across the business and finance teams with multiple business units through the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and Business Outlooks (3‑5 Year Plans). Support the management team for the Cards and Retail Financing Business to develop and maintain tracking of key business drivers and net credit margin for key business segments. Support business performance and variance analysis, including key business metrics, income statement, balance sheet, and regulatory metrics. Assist the preparation and completion of monthly and quarterly business review materials, forecast materials and AOP discussion materials for Executive Leadership, Ownership Group and the Board. Support a strong data‑driven environment, providing fact‑based strategic insight to business partners to identify risks and recommendations to improve future business performance. Business Growth – support the development of business cases and investment analyses, initiative tracking, and post‑implementation reviews. Finance Transformation – play a key role in enabling the capabilities of a newly launched cloud‑based implementation of Workday ERP and optimization of financial planning tools. Data‑Driven Organization – be an advocate for the adoption and use of data to simplify decision making and presentation of complex information. Lead the development of management dashboards, business models and data platforms. Who Are We Looking For? Finance / Accounting designation (CPA/CMA, MBA, CFA) 3+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting 2+ years of Financial Services industry experience Strong financial modelling capabilities with experience creating robust financial plans, forecasts, and projections Previous experience coordinating rigorous forecasting and planning cycles and corresponding outputs Relevant FI experience including management and OSFI regulatory reporting, understanding of capital requirements Previous experience with Banking (Credit Cards, Personal Lending, Auto, and Mortgages would be an asset) Strong business and process acumen, with ability to analyze strategic requirements, create innovative solutions, and develop action plans Experience in developing financial models and dashboards within industry BI Tools (PowerBI, Tableau) would be an asset Excellent presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills Highly collaborative, hands‑on approach Solution‑oriented, strategic business partner This role is vacant We are proud to be recognized as Great Place to Work® Canada for 2025 and Montreal's Top Employers 2025 by Canada’s Top 100 Employers Learn more: https://www.fairstone.ca/en/about/canadian-lender Follow us on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/fairstone/mycompany/ If you have a preferred language for communication, please kindly inform us whether you prefer French or English on your application.
