The Product Marketing, Lead will be focused on Interac Debit and will collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing & Communications ( MarComm ) and Client Service teams to develop high-impact product marketing programs to accelerate use and adoption across Canadian consumer and business audiences. You’ll be responsible for : 

Developing unique and ownable product narratives and competitive messaging .

Defining the annual go-to-market plan and strategy considering product launches and ongoing activities in support of Debit business objectives and transaction targets .

Owning and redefining the value proposition based on new features and benefits to support the marketing strategy .

Understanding customer segments and designing the lifecycle journey for Debit in-market. Integrate these segments with MarComm audience segments to align to campaign and MarComm activities .

Understanding the market, our customers , and the broader ecosystem in which Interac operates .

Analyzing market and transaction data and designing product marketing strategies to lift transaction volume accordingly .

Understanding how to integrate product marketing activity results, including transaction attribution, into overall MarComm measurement plans .

Working with brand and strategy teams to identify market landscape and transaction insights .

Reporting to the Product team on performance marketing KPIs and market trends to influence the product roadmap .

Developing smart, organized , and effective outbound campaigns and programs, including co-marketing programs, by collaborating closely with the product, sales and marketing communications teams .

Collaborating with Partner Marketing teams, and others across Product and Sales to support lower-funnel marketing activities .

Contributing to Agile squads’ goals whenever necessary, as part of Interac’s ways of working.

Intaking the Product roadmap, objectives , and business goals and be the product’s ambassador to the greater MarComm team so that enterprise - level MarComm programming is product-led and serving the needs of the business. 

Working with the integrated marketing team to develop 360 MarComm programming, both campaigns and always-on, to achieve product objectives — driving growth and business development — leveraging PESO tactics across all M arcomm channels (internal and external). 

Working with the brand team to ensure brand health of products, and overall alignment to brand strategy and guidelines. 

Maintaining and managing relationships with external agencies, partners , and vendors .

You bring: 

A Bachelor’s degree in Business , Marketing, or Engineering with marketing experience .

A minimum of 7 to 10 years marketing experience with at least 3 years in product marketing .

Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity .

Hands-on experience in one or more areas: product launches, sales enablement, go-to-market planning, market analysis, competitor analysis, digital marketing , and promotions .

Demonstrated success in working with Communications, Sales, and Product Management .

Experience in performance marketing is an asset .

S trong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting in front of an audience, a natural communicator .

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders .

Aptitude for working with data, insights , and measurement .

Proficiency in French is a bonus.
