Organizational Description: The Manitoba Down Syndrome Society is a non-profit organization that provides support, information and opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, parents, professionals and other interested persons.Volunteer Opportunity DetailsVolunteer Opportunity ID: 6036Description of Duties: MDSS Active Youth Program is designed to help youth with Down syndrome aged 9 to 17 build physical literacy skills, develop confidence in sport and recreation, and make meaningful connections with peers.As a volunteer in the Active Youth Program, you will support children and youth with Down syndrome in participating in inclusive, fun, and engaging recreational activities.
