And we hope you make the best work of your career here. ––– Content Designer & Editor The Content Designer & Editor is part of the creative team at Academy. This role supports our always-on work and campaign executions by bringing ideas to life through design, video editing, and social content creation. This person should be internet-obsessed (you know, in a tasteful way), scrolling with purpose, plugged into culture, and hungry to learn. They’ll work closely with our in-house creator team and our creative director to build assets that move brands forward on social media. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Content Creation Design graphics, carousels, thumbnails, story frames, and light motion assets for social Edit short form video for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts Prepare and package assets using brand guidelines and platform best practices Create product and lifestyle driven content that feels native, modern, and high taste Work with content creators to execute concepts, refine edits, and support their shoots Partner with the creative director to bring ideas to life, iterate quickly, and level up craft Support cross functional teams on campaign assets when needed Always On Support Help develop and update monthly content calendars Assist in pulling references, sourcing trends, and identifying opportunities Execute post templates and formats that ladder into long term social strategy Craft & Culture Stay on top of design trends, editing techniques, and what’s hitting across social Bring a strong visual eye and sense of taste rooted in culture Show curiosity, ask smart questions, and push your skills forward with each project Additional Responsibilities Organize files, exports, and deliverables so the team can move quickly Bring solutions, not only problems Jump in on creative needs as they arise Self shoot content comfortably and independently, especially product and lifestyle pieces Be comfortable on camera when needed for creator-style content What This Person Demonstrates 2+ years of experience A growth mindset and eagerness to learn An understanding of social media, creative operations, and client relationships Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for design and content trends Strong communication across teams Reliability, ownership, and follow through Early taste in design and social, with a desire to sharpen it Ability to work in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple projects Ability to take feedback, run with it, and return with something stronger Proficiency in industry tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut Seniority Level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Marketing, Public Relations, and Writing/Editing Advertising Services Toronto, Ontario, Canada CA$69,000.00-CA$115,000.00 3 hours ago #J-18808-Ljbffr
