Global Senior Talent Acquisition @ Pride GlobalAre you an experienced QA leader who thrives in complex, enterprise-level testing environments?We re hiring a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist to drive quality strategies for a large-scale government digital platform – supporting mission-critical compliance and oversight programs that serve Ontarians.Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Toronto | 2 days remote within OntarioContract: 260 business days with potential for extension (1 time)What Youll DoLead and manage testing strategies, plans, and execution for both manual and automated testingOversee and coordinate quality assurance across multiple application components, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirementsDevelop test scripts, cases, and automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or KatalonPerform functional, integration, regression, load, performance, and accessibility testingManage defect tracking and resolution in Jira, coordinating triage with developers and business analystsCollaborate with product managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLCSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and issue resolutionFacilitate knowledge transfer, ensuring all documentation and artefacts are maintained in ministry repositoriesQualifications10+ years0experience planning, organizing, and implementing testing for complex enterprise systemsStrong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practicesProven expertise creating and executing test strategies, test cases, and automation scriptsHands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Katalon, and API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssuredKnowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services, and SQL for database validationExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with AODA compliance tools (AXE, WAVE)Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunnerBackground in testing multi-tenant enterprise platforms or regulatory/compliance systemsStrong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex defects and optimize QA processesYoull be at the forefront of testing a high-visibility, enterprise compliance platform, directly influencing the quality and reliability of services impacting communities across Ontario.
