What to expect As a Certification Services Representative, you are responsible for providing and maintaining certification services for new and existing clients and promoting other CWB related service lines. This includes: Auditing companies – validating welding activities (verification of personnel and welding credentials), ensuring compliance to applicable codes and standards (e.g., CSA W47.1, CSA W186, CSA 47.2, etc.), verification of procedure type documents; provide relevant opportunities for improvement (OFI). Procedure testing – Conduct testing for non‑prequalified joint assembly as per the requirements of CSA W59. Welder testing – Conduct individual performance testing as per the requirements of CSA W47.1 and CSA W47.2. Public safety activities – visiting job sites, liaising with building inspectors, engineers, and current and prospective clients. In this position, you will report to the Regional Manager, Western Certification and will be working remotely from your home office in Vancouver Island, BC. CWB is adopting a remote‑first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person. We are embracing radical flexibility, where employees are encouraged to work a schedule that works best for them, their team, and their clients.
