About the Role ADM is looking for a motivated and safety‑focused Lead Hand to join our Packing & Warehouse operations. This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, proven production experience, and the ability to work effectively within a team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Flour Packing & Warehouse Operators. Reporting to the Mix Plant & Warehouse Superintendent, this position is responsible for supporting Packing and Warehouse operations by assisting with the efficiency of the processes, helping in the reduction of downtime, performing inspection duties, and ensuring safe and productive work practices. What You’ll Do Complete and input all required data into management system Responsible to lead a group of 4 Packing & Warehouse operators Assist in daily operations of the Packing Lines and Warehouse positions Provide coverage for Packing & Warehouse Operator tasks as required Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures Monitor equipment and processes to ensure smooth operation Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly Communicate effectively with team members and management Maintain accurate records and perform computer‑based reporting tasks What You Bring Must have prior supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively Requires an excellent command of the following: problem solving, self‑motivation and organizational skills Proven experience with high‑speed production Ensure a safe and productive work environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook) required Must have the ability to maintain a confident and courteous manner while addressing colleagues, contractor & visitors The candidate must be able to hear and speak clearly, as well as read, comprehend and communicate effectively both orally and in writing Related industry knowledge Good attention to detail & trouble shooting skills Applicants must have a proven record of perfect attendance; only those meeting this standard will be considered Must demonstrate consistent, high‑quality workmanship with no history of workmanship issues Education and Experience Post Secondary Degree/Diploma required Management or Lead Hand experience or training Relevant experience in a Packaging, Warehousing or manufacturing environment Previous work in a high‑speed production setting strongly desired Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently in a team environment What’s in It for You Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance Competitive retirement plan Paid training and ongoing professional development A supportive, inclusive workplace that values your growth and well‑being The opportunity to contribute to a global mission that truly makes a difference Other Requirements Must pass pre‑employment medical and reference checks Regular, reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed Commitment to ADM’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Relocation assistance is not available Equal Opportunity Employer ADM celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
