We are looking for a ServiceNow CMDB Expert/Project Manager immediately with experience in ServiceNow, CMDB, and project management. Job Summary: ServiceNow CMDB Expert/Project Manager Role Overview The ServiceNow CMDB Expert/Project Manager must have strong CMDB and SQL background and possess the ability to help resolve gaps between DoD database and CMDB. Must have good leadership skills to follow up on issues identified with DoD, upstream & downstream systems and DXC teams as needed. Top Responsibilities Provide ServiceNow CMDB expertise to resolve gaps between data sources and CMDB. Write complex SQL queries to pull data and analyze results. Strong leadership skills to follow up on CMDB gaps and issues that cannot be resolved internally within the team. Investigate root causes when one record from a data source maps to multiple records in ServiceNow and vice‑versa. Map entities to correct CI classes/relationships; align lifecycle and environments. Define identity and reconciliation: coalesce keys, dedupe/survivorship, reference resolution. Validate and sign off: test cases, reconciliation counts, negative tests, rollback plan; facilitate stakeholder decisions. Top Skills ServiceNow CMDB: CSDM 4.x modeling; core CMDB tables/relationships. Identification & reconciliation, CMDB health; Import Sets/Transform Maps/Coalesce; IntegrationHub ETL/Flow Designer; MID basics. Data: SQL; profiling and normalization; reference data management. ETL/ELT patterns, idempotency, dedupe/survivorship; JSON/CSV/XML; REST familiarity. Domain: Infra (servers/VMs/containers/network/storage); cloud resource models and tagging. Application vs. service modeling and dependencies. Governance: Naming/taxonomy; DQ KPIs; ownership/stewardship; audit/change controls; privacy basics (PII/SOX/PCI). Stakeholder interviewing/facilitation; concise documentation/visuals; analytical, hypothesis‑driven thinking. The pay range for this role is CAD $120,000 – $130,000 per annum, including any bonuses or variable pay.
