Put simply, we make “Life Good” – from home appliances, consumer electronics to business innovations in digital signage and air conditioning.The Home Appliances Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for delivering on action plans to achieve specified targets. The incumbent works with national channel partners on strategic selling to meet and exceed sales targets and uncover existing and future project opportunities.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales Quotas & Results:Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achievedListing of core and premium SKUs by categoryCreate revenue plan by account with buyer – Forecasting 120 days outDeliver action plan by account to achieve target revenuesWeekly account schedule to review inventory and ad plansExpand LG line in all categoriesProvide timely competitive information to head officeEnsure proper brand message is delivered in all materials i.e., Flyer, ROP, Web, Radio, In-StoreDevelop account specific promotional plans 120 days outWill contribute to the development of key account sales goals and KPI measuresAdministration:Manage inventory and sell-through activitiesGap analysis by major account to find opportunitiesMarket analysis worksheet – to be continually updated on monthly basisRevenue and share data by category including market trends - weeklyManage Service-related issues, RA and DOA issues as well as credit-related concernsMaintain proactive relationship with order fulfilment counterpartPre- and Post-Meeting files for accurate after-action plansManaging multi-level relationships at assigned accountsKeeping senior management abreast of all areas of developmentSelf-Improvement & Training:Memorize LG product knowledge and related materialsMaintain expert knowledge of key competitors in key growth categoriesKeep abreast of industry trends and market intelligence through E-learning, industry magazines, sales related materials, trade shows, etc.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:University degree preferably in Business in addition to 5-10 years’ experiencePrior experience with Home Appliances on a national scale is a strong assetStrong communication, both oral and writtenProficient in PC skills, specifically Microsoft applications with an emphasis on ExcelStrong organizational skillsQuick learnerNote : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
