This is an autonomous position, and is ideal for emerging professionals who crave freedom in the workplace to make decisions and meaningful change, and to grow in their role alongside a burgeoning company. The successful candidate will be provided with the fiscal resources needed to support their ambition and leadership.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and execute Phased Environmental Site Assessments, remediation, and groundwater engineering.Oversee and review technical deliverables, including Records of Site Condition (RSCs) and reports, ensuring compliance with O. Reg. 406/19: On-Site and Excess Soil Management and other regulatory frameworks.Ensure regulatory compliance and serve as a senior consultant on environmental projects.Effectively present technical information, both written and verbal, in a professional and concise manner.Develop preparation of proposals, project planning, scheduling, allocation of personnel and resources, budgeting, overall supervision of project personnel, reporting, and regular communication with clients.Responsible for invoicing clients on a monthly basis unless an alternative payment schedule is specifically requested by the client and agreed upon by the group leader and/or department manager.Responsible for retention of existing clients and acquisition of new clients.Responsible for following AllRock’s health and safety policies and procedures and applicable government legislations.Accountable for revenue, costs and profitability of projects under his/her management.Report writing and technical interpretation of specifications and drawings.The project manager will provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior and intermediate AllRock personnel in accordance with his/her knowledge base.Create technical reviews and provide recommendations regarding designs and reports prepared by consulting engineers.Collaborate with other Allrock service lines on multi-service projectsTravel, shiftwork and overtime may be required. Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing updates on project status, negotiating contracts, and offering technical support.Establish and oversee quality control procedures to ensure precision and reliability in geotechnical analyses and reports, following industry standards and best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related fieldRegistered Professional (P.Eng., P.Geo.) in Ontario with an established QP designation under MECP.5-10+ years of experience in contaminant hydrogeology, environmental site assessments, and regulatory compliance.Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.Preferred SkillsStrong understanding of Ontario’s Excess Soil Regulation and industry best practices.Proven experience in project management, client relations, and team supervision.Skilled technical writer, editor, and reviewer, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.Attention to detail in all undertakings is essentialSuperior organizational and communications skills are essentialDesire to succeed in a dynamic, progressive organizationFamiliarity with federal and provincial environmental legislation and regulationsA high level of integrity and pride in quality work is imperative.Proven technical writing skills.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.Equal Opportunity StatementAt AllRock Consulting Limited, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture that celebrates diversity in all its forms.
