About the Role We’re looking for a highly analytical and versatile finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analyst. This role will partner directly with the Director of Finance and support company‑wide decision making — from forecasting and board prep to financial tooling and workflow automation. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Produce clear, reliable reporting for internal stakeholders and help prepare materials for board and investor updates. Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support company‑wide initiatives, including pricing, hiring plans, vendor evaluation, and SaaS metrics. Improve tracking of core financial and operational metrics across systems. Support the monthly close process in collaboration with the Controller and Bookkeeper. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reporting and evaluate and implement new tools. Apply a quantitative lens to decisions across GTM, Product, and People teams. Communicate insights clearly to help stakeholders make better, faster decisions. Requirements Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a high bar for accuracy. You care about getting the numbers right and explaining them clearly. Finance‑related experience (FP&A, banking, accounting, ops, or similar) is a plus but not required; early‑career candidates who are sharp and hungry to learn are welcome. Comfortable working in Google Sheets/Excel to build and audit models and reports from scratch. Tech‑savvy and quick to learn, especially comfortable using AI tools to extend your capabilities. Takes agency in an unstructured, fast‑paced environment, proactively identifying problems and following through without a playbook. Willing to get into the details, chasing down accounting inconsistencies and ensuring data integrity. About Botpress Botpress recently raised its $25 million Series B funding.
