Avanciers is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada as a Financial Due Diligence Associate / Analyst (French Bilingual). Position: Financial Due Diligence Associate / Analyst (French Bilingual) Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months contract Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented professional to join our Financial Advisory team to support buy‑side and sell‑side M&A due diligence and advisory engagements. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality financial insights that drive informed decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Perform and co‑lead financial due diligence on M&A transactions, supporting both buy-side and sell-side advisory projects. Analyze financial statements, business plans, information memoranda, and other relevant documentation to assess company performance and identify potential risks and value drivers. Prepare Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports and highlight key financial considerations, integration challenges, and valuation impacts. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including clients, management teams, and Deloitte’s internal service lines, to deliver end-to-end transaction support. Build strong working relationships and maintain effective communication throughout project delivery. Develop a deep understanding of target businesses, their market position, and industry dynamics; opportunities exist to specialize in a specific industry. Qualifications 2–5 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year in M&A transaction due diligence considered an asset. Undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials; CPA designation (completed or in progress) required. Additional designations such as CBV or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a passion for working with financial data. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Bilingualism in English and French is required, given the role’s interaction with national and international clients.
