We are looking for a strategically minded, highly motivated candidate who will be able to provide reliable and timely information and analysis to business leaders.As a Senior Financial Analyst - Costing, your responsibilities include:Analyzing monthly variances for SG&A, labor, and other cost centers by comparing actual performance to budgeted figures.Preparing labor, overhead, and SG&A rate calculations.Reviewing and preparing monthly allocations for various cost centers.Managing month-end entries and allocations.Acting as the lead for the annual rate negotiation file with government entities.Preparing and presenting clear and concise financial reports to senior management.To Excel In This Role, You Should HaveBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an accounting or financial role.Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and sharp business acumen.Strategic thinking ability and strong analytical skills.Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize in a demanding environment.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.What Sets You ApartKnowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., Oracle, Power BI).A relevant professional designation, such as CPA.Experience in FP&A activities, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.What We Offer100% paid group insurance and employer-matched pension planStudent financial assistance programFree electric charging stationsLow-cost on-site cafeteriaClosed between the holidaysWorld-class company on a human scaleCMC is committed to employment equity and to the equal access program.
