At BBA, we value curiosity, teamwork, and ingenuity, and we’ll support you with mentorship and professional development as you build your career in industrial telecom and digital infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesContribute to industrial IT, network, and telecom infrastructure design for mining, energy and industrial sectors.Prepare technical deliverables as part of preliminary and detailed engineering design.Assist senior engineers on client site work (survey, pre-commissioning, commissioning, etc) related to network and telecom design.Contribute to project scope development, proposals, cost estimates, and budgets.Identify client needs for new opportunities or ongoing projects.Develop and maintain lasting relationships with clients while meeting their high expectations.Develop your professional network to generate business opportunities. Qualities and valuesDo your qualities and values match our corporate culture?Entrepreneurial spiritResults-drivenThirst to learn and excelRigour and ethicalStrong interest in the world of technologyInterest in solving the most complex challenges QualificationsOverview of certifications and job requirementsBachelor’s degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunications or another relevant field1-4 years of experience in Information Technology or another relevant field.Knowledge of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Spanning Tree, SD-WAN, MPLS, etc.)Experience with wired and/or wireless, LAN, MAN, WAN network architecture.Experience with network equipment (Cisco, Fortinet, HPE, Aruba, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.)Knowledge of fiber and copper structure cabling.Knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies (HPE, Dell, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, NAS, etc.)Familiarity with Operational Technologies (OT), such as industrial control systems, SCADA, and PLCs.Knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration and Active Directory.Certifications in Network and Cybersecurity (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) and familiarity with IT/OT frameworks and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, IEC 61850)Bilingual (English and French).
