Job OverviewIndi Commercial Mortgage is seeking a Commercial Underwriter & Fulfillment Specialist to support underwriting and fulfillment activities within our commercial lending operations. This role is ideal for early-career finance professionals looking for hands-on experience in commercial underwriting, document fulfillment, financial analysis, and deal management. The position combines analytical responsibilities with end-to-end execution of commercial mortgage files. This role is an in-office position in Kelowna, BCResponsibilitiesUnderwriting (supports senior team until fully trained)Review and analyze commercial mortgage applications, financial statements, rent rolls, credit reports, and property appraisalsAssess borrower strength, property viability, and deal structure alignment with lender policiesIdentify risks and recommend mitigation strategiesPrepare underwriting summaries and recommendations for approvalCommunicate underwriting decisions to brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholdersAssist in creating and maintaining financial models and deal analysis templatesFulfillment (initial primary duties)Collect, verify, and track all required documents from clients and third partiesLiaise with lenders, legal teams, brokers, and appraisers to resolve outstanding conditionsTrack deal progress from conditional approval through fundingConfirm compliance with regulatory and lender-specific requirementsMaintain accurate records and update internal systemsAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist with intake, call logs, and social media outputSupport integration and use of the CRMParticipate in process improvement initiatives and technology expansionStrong analytical and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple deals and meet deadlinesProficiency in Excel and financial analysisFamiliarity with underwriting or loan origination software is an assetStrong organizational and document management abilitiesSalary: $25/hour, 30 hours/week to start, depending on experiencePerformance BonusHow to ApplySubmit your resume to mark@markgolbey.com with the subject line: Commercial Underwriter & Fulfillment Specialist – Your Name #J-18808-Ljbffr
