You\'ll inspire and guide your team to meet high service standards while managing various operational and statutory responsibilities. Your leadership will directly contribute to Service BC\'s reputation for trust and reliability.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Business Management, Public Administration, Leadership or related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.A minimum of 2 years of management experience leading teams to provide exceptional in-person and/or virtual services.A minimum of 2 years of experience managing conflict and dealing with emotionally charged individuals and/or groups.A minimum of 2 years of experience leading in an environment where there are frequently changing and competing priorities.A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a broad range of human resource functions including performance management, leave management, recruitment, and retention.A minimum of 2 years of experience coaching, training, and developing a team to provide best in class service.Preference may be given to applicants with:Experience managing in a unionized environment.Experience using analytics to make informed business decisions, allocate resources, and evaluate outcomes.Experience leading a remote/virtual or geographically distributed team.Experience leading in a public sector or regulated environment.Experience leading projects or programs with multiple partners.WillingnessThe successful candidate will be required to travel to the Ucluelet office approximately four times per year.How to ApplyYour resume and/or cover letter must clearly show that you meet the education and experience requirements.
