Collaborating with the Supervisor and Senior Systems Analyst, they will help create and maintain technical artifacts to ensure scalable, maintainable, and robust enterprise systems while overseeing third‑party vendor work. Key Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop custom SAP Fiori applications and extensions that are responsive, intuitive, and aligned with user experience best practices. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Develop robust front‑end applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Integrate front‑end applications with SAP back‑end systems using OData services and SAP Gateway. Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in Fiori applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and usability. Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and maintenance for existing Fiori applications. Serve as the primary SME for Level 2 and Level 3 support for a specific application domain. Coordinate and, if necessary, elevate issues to vendors for timely resolution. Perform operational maintenance activities such as patching vulnerabilities, upgrading systems, and monitoring performance and health. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 5 to 6 years of progressive experience in system development and implementation, including application, system administration, and support services. Industry‑leading developer certifications (Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Cloudera/Hadoop, Oracle, Salesforce). AWS or similar optional. ITIL or PMP designation considered an asset. Required Skills and Knowledge Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5. Proficiency with JavaScript, RAP, HTML, and CSS. Practical experience as an SAP Developer or related role. Strong understanding of SAP development methodologies and best practices. Advanced knowledge of CDS views. Experience with ABAP on HANA, OData services, REST services, WebDynpro, Business Objects (BOR), SAP Workflow. Understanding of SAP integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, CPI, or other methods. Experience with cloud platform integration, Open Connectors, API management, and process integration. Experience developing SAP Fiori UI5 applications using Business Application Studio (BAS) and Git for version control. Experience developing custom objects for SAP Finance, SAP Material Management‑Procurement, and/or SAP Payroll. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to work on evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays as required. Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and access to a vehicle (mileage compensated and proof of insurance required).
