The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position as: Responsibilities Maintain records for accounting functions and assist with audits. Keep up-to-date and accurate data of clients, students, vendors, and customers within the Great Plains Accounting System. Ensure quality client service. Enter client funding packages and amendments, including assisting with the processing of student payroll. Accurately enter and process vendor and customer invoices in both the accounts payable and accounts receivable areas of the department. Process vendor payments and customer receipts in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Accounting/Business Certificate or Diploma (or a combination of relevant experience and course completion). Experience with the Great Plains Accounting System is an asset. Ability to multi‑task, solve problems, and meet deadlines. Work independently and as a member of a team. Strong organizational and computer skills. Sound working knowledge of the Métis community is a significant asset. Attention to detail is a key requirement of this position.
