The Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a Long Term Occasional teacher to provide coverage for a teacher on leave. The assignment will cover Grade 9 science and Grade 11 biology across the campus identified above. Details of the assignment can be found in the posting. Eligibility Current OCSB employee – must use the OCSB ATE account to apply. Applicants must use an OCSB email address; personal email submissions may not be considered. Qualifications Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. Successful completion of the Sexual Abuse Prevention Training through OCT. Salary range $51,234 to $119,943, determined by Article 32 of the OECTA agreement. Application Process The board identifies the three most senior qualified applicants. Applicants are contacted to confirm interest; if declined, the board contacts the next senior applicant until five are considered. If fewer than three qualified applicants apply, the board selects the appropriate applicant from those who applied. If no qualified occasional teachers apply or all decline, the board may hire an external qualified teacher not on the roster.
