Position Overview As a member of the Human Resources team, the Recruitment Specialist will lead the full-cycle recruitment process for Durabuilt Windows & Doors. This role is central to building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline through proactive sourcing and active engagement with the external labour market. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is seeking a challenging role with meaningful impact. Your Experience Drives high volume, full-cycle recruitment across a broad range of positions managing all stages of the hiring process from proactive sourcing and candidate screening through interviews, selection and onboarding. Proven ability to develop job postings, manage applicant tracking systems (ATS), and execute recruitment marketing strategies. Strong understanding of hiring needs in manufacturing (can include production and/or construction) with the ability to build talent pipelines for production and skilled labor roles. Demonstrated knowledge of multi-provincial labour laws, employment standards, and compliance requirements related to recruitment, onboarding, and job pricing. Experience in conducting interviews, pre-employment assessments, to ensure quality hires. Experience working with third-party staffing agencies, job fairs, and community recruitment initiatives to attract diverse talent. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the recruitment process through collecting recruitment metrics, feedback from candidates, market trends, documenting the process, generating regular recruitment reports and advising the business of updated market trends & opportunities. Demonstrated success in building relationships with hiring managers and providing strategic recruitment support. Develops and maintains internal relationships with other HR team members and hiring managers to understand career levels, compensation, business requirements, and deliverables. May perform other related duties as assigned. Your Skills & Background Post secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent experience. RPR, CPHR or equivalent designation preferred. 3-5 years in a Recruitment Coordination/Recruiter position in a fast-paced environment with a focus on understanding business requirements and delivering results. Experience with interpreting position requirements, conduct a hiring plan discussion and assess candidates against the position profile. Adaptable, resilient and able to drive the full cycle recruitment process, including proactive candidate sourcing, networking, qualifying, assessing, interviewing and identifying target markets. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated success with relationship building across various levels within the organisation and with candidates. Well versed in Internet search, Social Media Platforms specifically LinkedIn, and other recruiting portals in order to develop and execute initiatives to continuously expand potential candidate pipeline and employer brand. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service focus and team player. Working Conditions Primarily office-based with intermittent travel for job fair and talent sourcing. Operates primarily in an office environment with use of standard office equipment (laptop, smartphone).
