About the role Join the Chief Financial Officer’s office in the Corporate Enterprise Portfolio Management team as a Senior Specialist, Financial Analysis. You will lead the benchmarking of costing structure for service provider, develop and recommend a new costing model, participate in the selection process and provide financial recommendation. This is a temporary position with a duration extending until December 2026. What you’ll do Participate in the development of annual and multi-year budgets, financial planning and forecasting, including the analysis of financial data. Provide direction and oversight on the formulation and recommendation of assumptions used in financial models (financial forecasting). Develop a costing model for service provider, that will inform of the evaluation and selection criteria. Develop and prepare complex financial reports and analysis to present to clients and senior management the financial situation and identify opportunities. Participate in reviewing proposals received from service provider, negotiate and make financial recommendation. Develop analysis of the financial planning and forecasting processes and procedures to identify improvements in controls, efficiency and effectiveness. What you should have A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as accounting, finance, business administration, economics or commerce and a professional accounting designation (at least the Chartered Professional Accountant designation). A minimum of seven (7) years experience in a finance-related position, such as financial planning and analysis, financial reporting or business analysis. Experience in project management or experience in working in a complex project. Extensive knowledge of financial, legislative and regulatory environments. Ability to review the costing for complex project/business cases and make recommendations. Ability to analyze data, develop complex financial models and assess sector/organizational capacity and resource utilization. Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting on financial results. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to negotiate and communicate to influence colleagues, partners and stakeholders. It would be great if you also had Knowledge of complex IFRS standards. Good oral and written communication skills in English and in French. IT project experience. Posting closing date Note, the competition will remain active until filled.
