Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking forClass 3 Driver/Operatorsto join their safety conscious team atSuncor Fort Hills You will be responsible for operating and driving various assigned units such as combo units, water trucks, pressure trucks, and for performing a variety of jobs as dictated by the client.This is a Union Local 362 Teamsters position. This is a 14/14 rotation, full rates starting at $41.44/hour.Why work for Clean Harbors?Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5Camp provided to those who qualify;COLA available to those who qualify;Client provided flights out of Edmonton & Calgary hubs;Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;Group RRSP with company matching component after 90 days of full-time employment;Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career;Positive and safe work environments.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.Drives, operates and stages units.Performs pre and post trip inspections.Assist with job site preparation, staging equipment.Maintains and updates driver’s logbook.Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;Performs roadside repairs as requiredother duties as assigned.QualificationsClass 1 or 3 Driver’s License required with 18 speed manual transmission experience.Experience with Hydrovac, Combo and vac truck units, would be an asset.Experience with heavy equipment such as rock trucks would be an asset.Minimum of one (1) year previous Oilsands or industrial experience.Must hold valid First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certificates (will be required to provide proof prior to first day and site arrival). Training can be arranged.Ability to work a 14/14 rotation, day and night shift.Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.Experience in a labor-intensive position and working outside in all types of weather conditions.40-years of sustainability in action.
