Please note, this is a contract position.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Process Daily Payment Files (Credits & Debits):Manage and process recurring insured paymentsDisburse broker payments in a timely mannerProcess electronic payments (E-Payments)Handle and process customer refundsIssue and manage cheques as neededConduct account closing adjustmentsEnsure accuracy and resolve discrepanciesInvestigate and resolve chargeback claims4. Deposit Cheques & Post Payments:Deposit received cheques promptlyAccurately post payments to the appropriate accounts5. Prepare and Maintain Reporting:Monitor and report on continuous paymentsTrack and report on policy reinstatementsIdentify and correct payment schedule issuesRecord and report policy cancellationsREQUIRED SKILLSAbility to adhere to strict deadlines while handling tasks simultaneouslyExcellent judgment and strong problem-solving skillsGreat attention to detailStrong communication, time management and organizational skillsAbility to quickly learn new systems and proceduresProficient in MS ExcelKnowledge of basic accountingEDUCATION QUALIFICATIONSHigh SchoolSome CollegePlease note: THIS IS A CONTRACT POSTION.
