Ideally, the candidate will be located in London, Ontario.In this position, you will act as a business owner in your territory, building and executing strategic account plans, accelerating partnerships with healthcare professionals, programs, accounts, and health systems. Your work will focus on increasing patient protection against vaccine-preventable diseases while aligning with GSK’s mission: to unite science, talent, and technology to get ahead of disease together.How We WorkAs a Key Account Manager at GSK, you will work in a culture that is ambitious for patients, accountable for impact, and rooted in doing the right thing.This role will provide you with:The opportunity to develop and execute strategic territory account plans to surpass commercial performance objectivesCollaboration with healthcare professionals, administrative leaders, and health system stakeholders to drive process implementation within programs, accounts, and networksExposure to national and regional planning through ongoing territory/account analysis and contribution to opportunity or mitigation strategiesThe chance to apply an entrepreneurial mindset, innovative approach, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver resultsThe ability to embrace and advocate for multichannel engagement and communication, ensuring customers receive timely and relevant informationRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Working with targeted therapeutic healthcare professionals and administrative leaders to drive process implementation within programs, accounts, and health systems/networksDeveloping a deep understanding of local patient journeys and key decision-makers’ objectives/goals to identify opportunities for partnership aligned with commercial objectivesBuilding and growing a network of external healthcare and administrative stakeholders to support optimal vaccine recommendations throughout the patient journeyEffectively engaging external stakeholders in scientific discussions to ensure promoted vaccines are prescribed to the right patients at the right timeLeveraging internal and external resources to develop and execute tailored customer value solutionsEmbracing accountability and empowerment to make agile decisions while maintaining a broader view of overall team objectivesManaging territory spend and budgets to ensure optimal impact and ROIProviding ongoing territory/account analysis and identifying market dynamics with potential business impactLeading and delivering regular performance-to-objective reviews to commercial leadershipDemonstrating strong understanding and consistent application of the GSK Code and valuesOvernight travel as required for regional meetings and external conferencesQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree completedMinimum 3+ years of experience in institutional specialty sales or Key Account Management rolesStrong understanding and experience in the execution of key account management principlesExcellent communication and engagement skills, both virtual and in-personAbility to articulate complex content clearly to management, peers, and customers in individual and group settingsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with natural curiosity and active listening abilityAgility to work successfully in a dynamic, complex, and changing environmentSelf-motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative, with strong cross-functional communication skillsExperience with budget ownership and ROI analysisProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn new programs quicklyValid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory and domestically as requiredPreferred QualificationsRecent Cardiology, Endocrinology, or Nephrology experience (minimum 2 years)Strong working knowledge and proven performance in program, account, and health systems-based marketsNote: This position may involve driving routinely on company business and may include a company-leased vehicle, subject to license verification and driver’s abstract review under GSK’s safe driver program requirements.#LI-GSKWhy GSK?Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.
