Requirements College certificate (AES) or Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in Industrial Maintenance or Mechanical Maintenance (or equivalent experience and education) or agreement to obtain it within a reasonable amount of time. Minimum three (3) years manufacturing experience (pharmaceutical environment or food industry an asset). Success in the following tests: Standard timing test Mechanical Mathematics Metric system Very high level of leadership and autonomy to make appropriate decisions. Capacity to manage multiple tasks or priorities. Logical, meticulous and well organized. Ability to work under pressure and follow official procedures. Responsibilities Set up, disassemble and adjust the equipment in the Packaging department. Start up equipment and carry out proper adjustments to ensure optimal operation accordingly to the standard speed. Carry out breakdown services (troubleshooting) during any interruption and ensure the equipment is back in operation in the briefest delay. Supervise the equipment and ensure constant supply of components in order to minimize any delays. Carry out adequate equipment maintenance and general departmental cleaning tasks. Carry out different tasks ensuring preventive maintenance on the equipment when required. Ensure all employees in the Packaging department follow GMP and other security measures. Supply the various stations with the appropriate components to ensure continuous production in the Packaging department. Perform checks during the course of packaging the various packing components (IPC) and the finished products. Ensure daily and long-term training and supervision of employees. Carry out various tasks on the packing line as required. Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
