Job Description Job Purpose We are seeking a detail-oriented food safety professional to build and own the HACCP plan and prerequisite programs, maintain procedures and documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, finished product specifications, and company food safety and quality standards at our Vancouver Ethical Bean facility. This role will lead and coordinate change controls, deviations and non-conformance reports; report non-compliance and drive corrective actions; prepare the plant and warehouse for internal, supplier, co-manufacturer and third‑party audits; and facilitate regulatory and supplier audits. The role includes conducting food safety and hygiene training for production staff, performing post‑operation inspections to verify cleaning standards, coordinating annual equipment calibrations and finished-product testing with contractors, and communicating quality documents with partners. This role will also assist with complaint and incident investigations, non-conforming product handling, and preparation of quality and safety reports while using ERP/quality systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office to manage records. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Responsibilities Build and Own the HACCP plan and prerequisites programs and adhere to food safety and quality programs and standards Maintain procedures and documentation to meet food safety requirements Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, food safety programs and finished product specifications Report non‑compliance and take corrective actions to assure compliance to all quality and food safety requirements daily Lead and coordinate the implementation of change controls, deviations and non‑conformance reports Handle and prepare the plant and warehouse for all quality audits Communicate documents with co‑manufacturers and partners Facilitate regulatory, supplier and third‑party audits Conduct food safety and hygiene training for production staff Conduct post‑operation inspection to ensure cleaning standards comply with written program Coordinate with related contractors for equipment annual calibration and finished product testing Train site on proper inspection procedure practices, GMP & programs Assist with complaints investigations, incidents and investigations, corrective actions coordination, non‑conforming products handling Prepare quality and safety reports Requirements Possession of Diploma or University Degree in Food Science or related field is a strong asset At least 3 years experience working in food industry as a HACCP coordinator or QA/QC is a strong asset Strong hands‑on experience with HACCP & Organic Manufacturing requirements Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.) ERP system and Quality system experience, SAP, etc. Fluent in written and verbal English Detail‑oriented and organized Innate forward‑thinker with passion for driving positive change Ability to think big picture Passionate about growth Expected Experience & Required Skills Diploma or University Degree in Food Science or related field required Capable of multitasking and self‑motivated (e.g., managing multiple priorities and plants) Ability toness influencing internal and external business partners, assessing and managing risk, and communicating across the supply chain English language is required HACCP experience preferred Green Belt/Certified Quality Engineer preferred Experience with ISO, and/or FSSC 22000 preferred Work Environment & Schedule Manufacturing plant environment with mener machinery and equipment. Compensation New Hire Base Salary Range: $75,100.00 - $93,900.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
