Senior Integration Specialist

Description Of Assignment

In order to support one of our client's transformation projects, an Integration Specialist is required for/with specialized skill set for enterprise integration services

Assignment Duties

  • Collaborates with business and technical inter-divisional staff and professional services to deliver and sustain solutions integrations through the life-cycle and reports progress to manager, stakeholders and team members and ensures successful delivery of solutions adhering to project management methodology
  • Determines requirements, analyzes and recommends feasible options, designs, builds and/or codes, acquires, tests, and implements enterprise information structures and applications, to meet critical City-wide and divisional business objectives and to provide a scalable enterprise solution
  • Applies technical expertise to recommend, develop and maintain corporate policies, procedures and standards that are consistent with legislation to ensure enterprise information and applications integrity
  • Applies technical expertise to ensure security, privacy and quality assurance requirements are implemented in a manner that delivers business requirements and is consistent with MFIPPA and legislation, thereby ensuring the integrity of complex enterprise information and applications
  • Develops and/or applies complex business and application models, information structures, data models, data schemas, technical program code, network and security interfaces, data and application design as governed by architectural frameworks, technology standards, information policies and legislative requirements

Experience And Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in the construction and upkeep of robust back-end services and RESTful APIs, leveraging Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Proven experience in utilizing Apache Camel for sophisticated system integrations and efficient management of intricate data workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in the design, development, and optimization of relational database systems, with particular expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Solid understanding of Docker, encompassing the principles and best practices of containerization technology.
  • Comprehensive experience in the implementation and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies and toolsets.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud service platforms, with a specific focus on OpenShift, for the deployment and management of scalable cloud-native applications.
  • Proficiency in orchestrating and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes/OpenShift, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Exceptional capability for independent analysis of requirements, solution design, and technical architecture with minimal supervision.
  • Desirable familiarity with SAP system integration, indicating an ability to navigate and align with enterprise-level software ecosystems.

Deliverables

  • Prepare test plans, test cases, scenarios and results documents;
  • Execute various types of technical tests (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, penetration, performance and user acceptance testing);
  • Analyze results and creating reports for Management as needed;
  • Track problems, defects and issues within a large project;
  • Assure the quality of integration delivered by the team
