Intermediate Design Technician, Municipal Engineering & Land Development Join WSP in Canada as an Intermediate Design Technician on the Municipal and Infrastructure team in the Lower Mainland. You will work in the Langley or Vancouver, BC office and design land development and municipal infrastructure projects locally and throughout BC, including site and subdivision planning, municipal roads, residential developments, stormwater management, pipe networks, and more. Join a company that strives to future‑proof our cities and environments. Responsibilities Design and draft land development and municipal infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Participate in project meetings with contractors, owners, and stakeholders. Develop projects from preliminary concepts to engineering designs, plans, and documentation. Prepare documents for regulatory approvals and construction cost estimates. Coordinate schedules, budgets, and quality control with team members. Perform additional duties as assigned. What you’ll bring to WSP 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting and design experience; proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is mandatory. Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university. Registration or eligibility with ASTTBC or another technical accreditation body. Strong knowledge of local development bylaws and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint). Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills. Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment. Compensation Salary range (British Columbia): $71,500 – $98,300.
